About Lev Shlomo
Lev Shlomo is a home away from home for young men who are struggling with the rigors of the lengthy and demanding yeshiva schedule. At Lev Shlomo the focus is on the individual, inspiring self confidence and growth at one’s own pace. A combination of innovative techniques, specialized programs, and a resolute commitment to our students has enabled us to successfully elevate our students’ self-esteem. Here at Lev Shlomo, we are most concerned with guiding our students to living up to their full potential.
Lev Shlomo maintains full dormitory facilities, including all meals. The schedule at Lev Shlomo allows for growth in a comfortable, non-threatening environment. The boys learn that there are alternative avenues to explore when the challenges of life arrive.
Our dedicated staff of two full time Rabbis/mentors/counselors and two night time counselors make it possible to give the boys the individualized attention they need. In addition, we have a school psychologist available to our boys for therapy and/or counsel sessions.
Lev Shlomo offers small classes and support groups focusing on unity amongst the boys. For many of the boys here at Lev Shlomo, they experience what it means to be a family. This nurturing stays with our alumni for years after they graduate. It is the close knit family environment created here at Lev Shlomo that is the main cause for our many success stories.
Unfortunately, providing this environment to the boys is expensive, and some of our students come from families who cannot afford full tuition. This leaves us with the task of raising the funds necessary to operate. Lev Shlomo requests donations to be able to continue providing our boys with a warm and nurturing setting in which to become adults. There are also corporate sponsorship opportunities available.
